With over 1500 vehicles taking part, the British Car Meeting in Mollis is one of the most important meetings of the British car scene in Switzerland. The BCM always takes place at the Mollis airfield. In 2022, the airfield runway could also be used for the first time, making it easier to set up the vehicles and allowing faster access.
Every year, one or more brands are particularly honored and put in the spotlight, at the 42nd BCM on August 27, 2023, these will be Lotus and Caterham, represented by the Swiss Lotus Team and Lotus Seven Owners associations, from 09:00 to 16:00.
In addition, an extensive line-up of Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars is expected to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the RREC.
Participation is free of charge, but instead of an entrance fee, the organizers will be happy to receive a small contribution from the cashiers at the entrance/exit.
Culinary delights will be provided by local clubs and organizers, and if the British-style weather doesn't quite match the summer date, no one will be left out in the rain. Specialized suppliers of accessories, automobilia, specialist books and spare parts are represented, as are automobile clubs that indulge in British vehicles.
And even if you don't drive a British car, you're still welcome, just park your car outside the festival grounds.
Further information about the BCM can be found on the event's website.
