Klassikwelt Bodensee 2017 is just around the corner, from May 19 to 21. The sales and experience fair for classic mobility is already celebrating its 10th birthday. Around 800 exhibitors, clubs and participants from 14 countries will be on site.
Sales fair
Around 38,000 visitors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France are expected over the three days of the fair. They will be able to browse through the offerings of renowned vehicle dealers and private sellers, ranging from spare parts and accessories to rare automobiles. Motorcycles and boats as well as accessories for classic car drivers will also be on display for sale.
Restorers at Lake Constance
Anyone who has already found their classic car can ask the specialist companies at Klassikwelt Bodensee any questions they may have. Whether it's about the bodywork, interior, electrics or the engine, the specialists should know what to do. Suppliers of special tools and care products will also be represented at the trade fair. This is how the one or other professional restoration begins.
Dynamic program items
In addition to the classic sales fair, there are other items on the program. For example, vintage racing on the new exhibition circuit, specialist presentations by the classic car association DEUVET and practical demonstrations for "mechanics" by the Schweinfurt Vehicle Academy. In addition, the "Threewheeler Story" will focus on tricycles and steam cars will also be put under the microscope.
The Zeppelin city of Friedrichshafen is the cradle of aviation, so it is understandable that an event like Klassikwelt Bodensee also showcases aviation. In addition to a special exhibition of rare historic aircraft, pilots take off daily for a half-hour airshow.
40 years of the Porsche 928
Porsche specialists from Krämer Sportwagen Service, together with the Porsche Club 928, will be exhibiting some of the most beautiful examples of the first front-engined Porsche, which is celebrating its 40th birthday this year. In addition to the jubilarian, 356 and 911 models will also be represented. The Porsche diesel tractors from Friedrichhafen-Manzell will also feature in the special exhibition "Mythos Porsche".
The biggest tail fins of all time
Another special show will be dedicated to the "biggest tail fins of all time". Dealers such as Haug US Cars and US Car Clubs will be presenting an overview of the legendary era of the tail fin road cruiser. But it's not just the chrome and steel monsters that can be admired, some eight-cylinder cars will be doing their laps on the racetrack...
