What began in 2001 with around 40 classic car enthusiasts has now become the largest one-day classic car meeting in Germany: the classic car meeting at the Opelvillen. This year it will take place on Sunday, June 28, 2015.
Every year on the last Sunday in June, classic car enthusiasts from all over Germany and neighboring countries meet at the Opelvillen in the Opel city of Rüsselsheim to present their treasures. Cars, tractors, motorcycles and bicycles of all makes up to the year of manufacture 1982 are permitted here.
Classic cars and live music
Gastronomic diversity and a varied musical program attract tens of thousands of visitors to Rüsselsheim. What there is not in the Opelvillen, however, is a sales and parts market.
Free participation and admission
A special feature is that it is not necessary to register in advance, nor do stand fees have to be paid.
The meeting will take place from 10:00 to 16:00. The central meeting point is Ludwig-Dörfler-Allee 9 in Rüsselsheim.
Further information
Free parking is available at the parking garage on Mainzer Strasse (with bus shuttle), at the Landungsplatz am Main and at the stadium parking lot.
The event is organized by Adam Opel AG together with Kultur123 Stadt Rüsselsheim.
Further information can be found on the Rüsselsheim website and on the meeting's Facebook page.
