On the road for decades: the Mercedes 124 series was far more than just Germany's cab. Built from 1985 to 1996, the Mercedes-Benz impressed with its high-quality workmanship and spaciousness. So it's no wonder that it can still be seen on the roads today.
For enthusiasts of the Mercedes-Benz W124 sedan, KW automotive has developed the KW-V3 classic suspension. The suspension, which is adjustable in compression and rebound, with its stainless steel housings, is installed like the original spare parts. Mercedes-Benz also relied on the design of the double wishbone front axle and space bar rear axle familiar from the baby Benz (W201) for the W124 sedan.
As part of the parts certificate, all W124s with rear-wheel drive can be continuously lowered by between 35 and 60 millimeters. The extremely rare "Super-Benz" 500 E and E 500 manufactured by Porsche, on the other hand, can be lowered by up to 45 millimeters with the KW V3 suspension. The stepless lowering is adjusted directly on the spring plates and the spring plate mount. The KW-V3-Klassik suspension is available at a catalog price from EUR 2620 or CHF 3160.00.
