The business unit for all activities relating to the classic models of the two iconic British brands, previously known as Jaguar Land Rover Heritage, is now operating under a new name: Jaguar Land Rover Classic.
An even more successful future is heralded
Under its new name, the Classic department, which is part of the Special Operations division, will continue to focus on the restoration and servicing of historic vehicles, the dispatch of original spare parts and exciting experiences for customers and owners of historic models.
Tim Hannig, Director Jaguar Land Rover Classic, says: "The rebranding of the fast-growing Jaguar Land Rover Classic division worldwide demonstrates the commitment of the specialists working there to offer our classic-loving customers the best cars, the best workshop and parts service and the most exciting experiences. Our aim is to herald an even more successful future by honoring and nurturing the Jaguar and Land Rover past."
New Land Rover Classic workshop
Jaguar Classic continues to be based at Jaguar's historic Browns Lane (Coventry) headquarters. The workshops offer all the facilities for restoration, repair or maintenance work; the six faithful replicas of the Lightweight E-Type have already been built here. At the same time, a new Land Rover Classic workshop for the restoration and maintenance of Land Rover models is being built at Land Rover's main plant in Solihull. Vehicles that have already been fully restored at the plant are still for sale.
Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts supplies factory-certified parts for models that have been out of production for more than ten years. The parts catalog contains over 40,000 individual components with warranty and is distributed through the worldwide Jaguar Land Rover dealer network.
Drive iconic models yourself
In addition to vehicles, service and spare parts, Jaguar Land Rover Classic offers customers the opportunity to personally drive some of the most iconic Jaguar and Land Rover models of all time at driving events ("Classic Drives"). This year also sees the second season of the Jaguar Classic Challenge for pre-1966 vehicles. The season will kick off on May 2 at Donington Park, with the only race in Germany taking place on the second weekend in August as part of the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. Registration is possible on the website.
