Emil Frey Classics is once again organizing the popular classic car/youngtimer season-opening brunch in 2026. On April 26, 2026, Emil Frey Classics AG and Zwischengas.com invite all friends of classic cars and motorcycles (vehicle age at least 20 years old) to a brunch at the Classic Center in Safenwil.
The central theme of the event will be the Keil era. Paolo Tumminelli, one of the most distinguished car design historians in the German-speaking world, will once again be our guest. He will explain why courageous designers erased the face of the car with a radical cut at the end of the 1960s.
He will then discuss the sense and nonsense of this design revolution with museum curator Simon Bundi. As always, Paolo Tumminelli will illustrate his theses with a real-life object: in addition to a Lamborghini Countach and a Lagonda Saloon, other automotive delicacies will be presented: a Lotus Elite, a Triumph TR7 and a Princess.
The brunch is served between 10:00 and 14:00 and offers a variety of tasty drinks and dishes, including the obligatory Birchermüesli.
The admission fee of CHF 65.00 (children from 5 to 15 years are admitted for CHF 20.00, younger children eat for free) includes not only brunch and the lecture, but also admission to the Emil Frey Museum.
