The Goodwood Festival of Speed should have taken place on July 9-12, 2020. The famous "hill climb" through the castle grounds attracts tens of thousands of spectators, racing legends and racing cars from the entire history of motorsport every year.
In view of the coronavirus pandemic, the Duke of Richmond & Gordon (Charles Richmond) has been forced to postpone the racing weekend to an as yet undetermined alternative date.
As is well known, the 78th Goodwood Members Meeting has also been canceled. An alternative date is to be found for both events as soon as the situation can be overlooked.
Currently, the date of the Goodwood Revival, planned for September 11-13, 2020, is still being held.
