The days are already getting longer again, the sun warmer. Spring is just a few weeks away. The classic car season is just around the corner.
Reason enough to sit together on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Emil Frey Classic Center Switzerland in Safenwil in a cozy and musical atmosphere, have brunch together and talk about the beginning of the 2023 classic car season.
Inside F1
On the occasion of the season-opening brunch, Daniel Reinhard will give a talk about his latest work, which two photographers from Obwalden have compiled on the world's racetracks.
Josef and Daniel Reinhard have accompanied 70 years of motorsport history together. Daniel Reinhard will report on the friendships that have developed during this time, how pictures from Japan used to be sent to Switzerland in good time and what else happened before and after the races.
Daniel Reinhard, born in 1960, is an internationally renowned photographer who is already the third generation to focus on the automobile. He has photographed 500 Grand Prix races and, thanks in part to his father and grandfather, has an enormous photo archive focusing on cars. His pictures have been printed by "auto motor und sport", "sport auto" and many other magazines and can also be found in many pictures.
Daniel has been driving old cars for years, including a pre-war MG, a Lotus, a Mercedes-Benz 190 SL and a Renault Spider.
The season-opening brunch is organized by Emil Frey Classics AG and zwischengas.com. All friends of classic cars and motorcycles (vehicles at least 20 years old) are invited. There are plenty of parking spaces available, please follow the parking service.

The entrance fee (adults CHF 45, children up to 15 years CHF 15, children up to 5 years free) includes admission to the museum and, of course, the brunch. At the event, cultural assets on two to four wheels can be viewed and experienced. Anyone who also appears in clothing from the 50s/60s is sure to attract special attention.
