Do you like time travel? If so, you're sure to feel right at home at Boot & Fun Berlin / Motorworld Classics Berlin. These two trade fairs will be held together for the first time in 2019 in the exhibition halls below the Berlin Radio Tower and will whisk you away to the wild and untamed Berlin of the 1920s.
Fusion of automobile and shipping
As mentioned above, this year's exhibition is the product of a fusion of an automobile exhibition and a shipping exhibition. In addition to these two exhibitions of various collector's items from a wide variety of model years, as well as various historic automobile manufacturers from Germany and abroad, there are also various side events, which are all stylistically based on Berlin in the 1920s and thus on the motto of this year's fair.
In order to realize this motto, various actors, such as shoeshine boys and fire breathers, have been hired to entertain the public in addition to the exhibitions and take them back to the Berlin of the 1920s. Furthermore, all the showmen and women, as well as the exhibition team, are dressed in nostalgic period costumes. If you, dear visitor, also appear in the retro look of the 1920s, you will be offered a glass of sparkling wine.
Side events and special shows
Parallel to these events, the well-known parts market will also take place again, where visitors can exchange or purchase spare parts, optional accessories and gadgets. Visitors can also meet like-minded people, exchange ideas and talk about their shared passion - the automobile and boating. Of course, there will also be special shows on the topics of Berlin automobile construction, motorsport, US cars, etc. All in all, these two events are more than just exhibitions. Rather, they are a lifestyle event.
