To mark the centenary of the Kleinhuis Hotel Baseler Hof, a classic car rally was organized for the first time in 2007. Originally planned as a one-off event, it has since become a real tradition. Since then, motorized classic car enthusiasts have been meeting every year in June for a varied rally around Hamburg.
This year's Baseler Hof Oldtimer Rallye starts on June 22, 2025 at 8.30 a.m. at the Vereinigte Ofen- und Kaminwerkstätten Hamburg AG with a joint breakfast. From there, the rally will head west and north from 9.30 a.m. on a fantastic route of around 120 km.
Along the way, participants can expect small challenges and orientation tasks (easy to moderately difficult) as well as delicious refreshments. The award ceremony will take place at around 5 p.m. in the north of Hamburg, followed by a reception with great prizes to be won.
Any car built up to 1970 is welcome to take part in the Baseler Hof Oldtimer Rallye and explore the most beautiful corners of Hamburg. The entry fee, including breakfast, lunch and a reception at the award ceremony, is 75 euros per person.
After deduction of the costs, the entry fees will go to the non-profit association "Betriebsfähige historische Fahrzeuge e.V.", which preserves classic cars on water and land and maintains a historic Hamburg harbor launch.
