With over 20,000 enthusiastic visitors, the Motortreff at Motorworld München on May 9, 2026 was impressive proof of how spectacularly automotive passion can be combined with show and culture. From morning until late at night, mobility was celebrated with a veritable firework display of experiences. The top-class brand portfolio at Motorworld featured international premium and super sports car manufacturers such as BMW, Ferrari and McLaren, various US car brands as well as exclusive tuners, specialists and service providers.
Rare showpieces of automotive history stood side by side. A Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss, a valuable Ferrari Enzo, a BMW 3.0 CSL prototype and the unique BMW M8 MotoGP Safety Car, to name just a few rarities. The high-quality presentation was complemented by a large number of classic automobiles: from the James Bond car Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation to lovingly restored VW Beetles and a Messerschmitt cabin scooter, which were presented as part of the show parking, and many other collector's items on two and four wheels that are well worth seeing. Numerous vehicles were arranged by country of origin and spread across the floors of the parking garage. They formed an impressive showroom that brought the diversity of mobility and the history of driving culture to life in a special way. The rooftop lounge on the top parking level proved to be an extraordinary photo setting and outdoor highlight with drinks, BBQ and a magnificent view over Munich. Powerful US cars, a McLaren GTS and the small all-electric Microlino vehicles were on display there.
Emotional highlights characterized the top-class stage program, which was masterfully moderated by Maren Braun and combined technology, emotion and entertainment. The fire-up of the two original Formula 1 racing cars of the BMW Sauber F1 team from the 2007 season gave the audience goosebumps. The exciting auction by Lisette Rosenkranz crowned the day's program of the event with an interesting offer with an upper limit of around 50,000 euros for the individual lots. All the tenants at Motorworld München took part in the event with great creativity and commitment, ensuring an unforgettable overall experience with a multitude of fascinating highlights.
An atmospheric night-time drive and the big anniversary party brought the day to a glamorous close.
