On Saturday, September 2, 2017, the 26th edition of the Emil Frey Oldtimer Grand Prix will take place in Safenwil.
Once again this year, several thousand visitors are expected at the Emil Frey AG site in Safenwil. The exciting rides will take place from 9:30 am to 12 noon and from 1 pm to 4:30 pm.
Owners of classic cars from 1970 and older as well as motorcycles are cordially invited to take part in the Oldtimer Grand Prix for a participation fee of CHF 25. There will be enticing drives through the winding and even "hilly" industrial area in front of an interested audience.
Guest clubs are the Classic Car Club Safenwil, FAM (Friends of Old Motorcycles), the Jaguar Club d'Alsace and the Mini Club Lucerne.
In addition to the races, there are numerous other attractions on site for visitors, such as the special Toyota 50th anniversary exhibition, a distinctive photobus and an original London vintage bus that will chauffeur guests to the Emil Frey Classics Museum free of charge. The Classics Museum can also be visited free of charge. And in the "shopping mile", co-exhibitors will be presenting exciting attractions related to classic cars.
In addition to nostalgic color books and original color samples, Glasurit will also be showing a lot more information on the subject of car paints. It is also possible to take color measurements on historic vehicles using the color spectrometer on site.
Further information can be found on the Oldtimer Grandprix Safenwil website.
