Bern, the only Swiss city where Formula 1 races have ever taken place, will once again become a mecca for motorsport fans. On Sunday, August 26, 2018, historic racing and sports cars will line up on a closed circuit for the 3rd Grand Prix Suisse Berne Memorial, creating a genuine racing atmosphere from days gone by.
Sporting demo drives are offered in memory of the historic car races on the former city circuit "Bremgartenring" from the 1930s to 1950s in Bern.
250 historic racing and sports cars, motorcycles and sidecars from the early days to 1978 are expected to be on display. A racing license is not required.
From 10:00 to 17:00, the various racing classes will be sent out onto the circuit just outside Bern, with the paddock again located in the Westside.
The GP Suisse is organized by Daniel Geissmann from the Lucerne Museum of Transport.
