In contrast to other trade fairs that have been affected by cancelations, Technorama in Kassel should take place as usual on the weekend of March 14 and 15, 2020 despite the coronavirus! Visitors and exhibitors have already been reminded of the widely communicated hygiene measures, namely to wash their hands thoroughly several times a day (and to avoid shaking hands). Classic car drivers could have parked for free.
But in the meantime (on March 11, 2020), the fair was canceled at very short notice. A weekend in June 2020 is being targeted as a rescheduled date.
Among other things, there would have been special shows by the Mercedes clubs and the old Opel interest group. However, the main attraction of Technorama, with its 16,000 square meters of exhibition space, would of course have been the extensive parts market.
Classic car drivers (cars built up to 1970) can park free of charge at Technorama in Kassel, but can also visit the trade fair free of charge; from 1970 onwards, the parking lot would have been free of charge.
Further information can be found on the Technorama website.
