The easing measures announced by the German government last Wednesday (April 15, 2020) are also positive news for the Motorworld Group. From Monday, April 20, 2020, many of the companies based at the Motorworld locations in Böblingen, Cologne, Metzingen and Berlin will reopen their doors.
While the garages were in continuous operation, all car and motorcycle dealerships are now allowed to reopen from Monday. The stores can also all open their doors again, as no sales area is larger than 800 m². The V8 Hotel in Böblingen is still open for business travelers. As in previous weeks, the restaurants are offering to-go sales and delivery services. The Tower 66 Steakhouse, Check Inn Foodport and Da Signora at Motorworld Region Stuttgart and the Moto Foodgarage at Motorworld Köln-Rheinland have come up with special offers.
Award-winning and repeatedly expanded, Motorworld Region Stuttgart is now the largest private and brand-independent classic car and sports car center in Europe. Tenants include experts for classic cars such as Arthur Bechtel Classic Motors as well as car and bike dealerships for the premium brands Bentley, Ferrari, Maserati, Harley Davidson, Porsche and Rolls-Royce. The Dörr Group makes the hearts of automobile fans beat faster here with McLaren, Lotus and Pagani. The tenant mix also includes fashion and accessories retailers, model car and book stores and many other service providers.
In line with the same concept, Motorworld Köln-Rheinland is also home to dealers of classic cars and new vehicles in the premium segment, specialized workshops, lifestyle stores and other providers. Tenants include amian EXCLUSIVE Cars, AnMark Classic Cars, Levy Classic Cars, PON Luxury Cars (Lamborghini and Bentley Cologne), Roock Autosport (Porsche), Roller-Paradies (Vespa), Grandprix Originals and TÜV Rheinland.
As a special highlight for all Formula 1 fans, Motorworld Köln-Rheinland is also home to one of the world's most important motorsport collections: the Michael Schumacher Private Collection. It is housed as a permanent exhibition at Motorworld Köln-Rheinland, but fans will have to be patient until it reopens.
On the Henning Schmiedetechnik site in Metzingen, Motorworld Manufaktur Metzingen is currently being created as a lively place dedicated to classic mobility with workshops, showrooms, craftsmanship, accessory sales, lifestyle stores, restaurants, event areas and a V8 hotel. The first buildings, which are home to Bockemühl Classic-Cars, among others, were already completed last year.
Motorworld Manufaktur Berlin is also already in operation. Last summer, the Alte Härterei, a listed shed-roof hall on the peninsula directly on the banks of the Havel, opened after extensive refurbishment. The Dörr Group with Lamborghini and McLaren as well as DriversHall can be found here. New buildings will complement the historic building in the future.
Further information on our locations and opening times can be found on the Motorworld Group website.
