The classic car scene is becoming increasingly female. This is not only evident from the H-registration statistics, but can also be seen at many events. More and more ladies are taking the wheel themselves at rallies and trips and gathering information at trade fairs. However, these events usually do not do justice to the ladies. Rarely is there a special program tailored to female drivers and co-drivers.
New concept with Ladies Lounge
The new motoMarkt in Ravensburg is now closing precisely this gap: the trade fair organizers have spruced up the oldie with a new concept.
The centerpiece is the Ladies Lounge: It is not only a meeting point and networking area for all classic car enthusiasts, but also a place for workshops. For example, there will be a roadbook seminar for women, which will be held by Marlene Brutscher (organizer of the Jochpass Memorial).
All ladies who want to do their own repairs in an emergency can take part in a repair seminar. In addition to the tried and tested parts market, there will also be other exhibition areas: Vehicle dealers, restoration companies, vintage fashion and accessories, literature, travel, a club world and much more complete the picture.
The motoMarkt's cooperation partners are also fully in line with the trend: Anka Busch from Fritz B. Busch's Wolfegger Automuseum is on hand to provide our project team with help and advice. She will also be present in the Ladies Lounge.
The second cooperation partner - the Mercedes-Benz Ravensburg branch - also has a female project manager: Ann-Christin Bauer will also be supporting the team led by project managers Sandra Honner and Meike Pätzold.
Not an all-female event
But the men need not worry, they will also have their turn. The diverse range of exhibitors and an exciting supporting program appeal to drivers, classic car enthusiasts and families alike. The private vehicle market naturally also appeals to both sexes.
The Vintage Tour
A special highlight is the motoMarkt Vintage Tour on the first day of the fair. The vintage car tour finishes on Saturday at the exhibition grounds. It will be hosted by none other than Siegfried Schlüter, who has already accompanied the Solitude Revival, Schloss Dyck and many other events.
This new concept, which emphasizes enjoyment and flair, is sure to appeal to all automobile enthusiasts.
Classic cars built up to 1983 can take part in the motoMarkt Vintage Tour. Registration forms can be downloaded directly from the event website.
