Twice a year, Auto Enchères auctions the most diverse collection of antique cars in Switzerland in Montreux. Potential buyers benefit from impartial advice and cars from 120 private owners and collectors are presented.
In addition to the traditional Fiat 500, Citroën 2CV, Mini, MG and Triumph convertibles, there are also some rarities on offer:
The only Ford Monte-Carlo GT in the world, exhibited at the 1971 Paris Motor Show, and an MG VA convertible from Tickford, of which 540 were produced, from the time when MGs could still be fitted with a body by renowned coachbuilders like the Rolls Royce.
A Moretti Midimax, a light leisure vehicle of which only around one hundred units were produced between 1978 and 1979, was valued at just CHF 15,000.
No fewer than seven Rolls-Royces and Bentleys will be on display, which can be purchased for the price of a used VW Golf.
The exhibition will run from Friday, October 20 to Sunday, October 22 and will take place at the Centre des Congrès in Montreux.
