The 32nd RAID will take place in Italy from September 10 to 13, 2022. The route to the finish in Rimini is already unique: from Klosters and the Grisons Alps through South Tyrol to Verona, from Verona through Emilia Romagna and the Po Valley to Rimini on the Adriatic. No other rally offers this variety from the Alps to the sea.

"La domenica del RAID" in Verona
On Sunday, September 11, for the first time in the history of the RAID, a whole day will be spent in one place, in Verona.
In the morning, the RAID will run in the hills in the city's hinterland, there will be a proper RAID half-day with tests along the way. And of course, this part of the event counts towards the overall RAID classification. Two nights of the rally are spent in Verona, which is pleasant and comfortable.
First-class hotels and restaurants
The RAID organization has selected and checked the hotels and restaurants with the utmost care. The hospitality, the Italian cuisine, the excellent condition and the unique atmosphere of the hotels make this trip an experience.
In Verona it is the Hotel Veronesi La Torre. The hotel has all modern conveniences and is particularly well located for a rally just outside the city. The heavy traffic of Italian cities does not affect you here. And, of course, the house has a modern pool with all amenities.
In Rimini, the rally team spends the night in the Grand Hotel, one of the most famous hotels in Italy. A hotel palace like in the movies - and in fact the city's most famous son, director Frederico Fellini (1920-1993), was inspired by this Grand Hotel several times. A place of typical Italian elegance is the terrace with a sweeping view over the beach and the blue Adriatic. The final dinner and traditional awards ceremony will take place in this truly magical place.
For those interested in culture, there is also the Culture Package on September 13. After all, Italy is the country of culture par excellence and Ravenna is just an hour's comfortable bus ride from Rimini. A fascinating, smaller city with world-famous Byzantine mosaics such as those in the mausoleum of Galla Placidia, which date back to the 5th century. Coach trip, guided tour in German, lunch in a typical restaurant, return to the Grand Hotel Rimini in the evening.
