The Porsche 911 is one of the most popular classic cars. The six-cylinder sports car from Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen is the dream car of many classic car fans. The models with air-cooled engines from the original version introduced in 1963 to the 993 series, which was available until 1998, are particularly sought-after.
Bible for 911 fans
The new "Motor Klassik Spezial" devotes 164 pages to the technology of the successful Porsche sports car. "1000 tips for 911 drivers" is the subtitle. The result is a bible for all fans of the model series. It doesn't matter whether you actually work on your car yourself or want to develop a better understanding of the technology of your 911.
From the basic tool kit and spare parts supply to the extensive practical section with tips for inspecting the individual model series, this special edition offers everything worth knowing about the Porsche classic.
Not just for mechanics
"Delving a little deeper into the technology of the 911 promotes an understanding of the peculiarities of the 911," says Hans-Jörg Götzl, Editor-in-Chief of Motor Klassik.
For the first time, the editorial team is dedicating the Schrauber Spezial exclusively to one model series family. For this issue, the editors looked over the shoulders of various Porsche specialists as they worked. "Even if our readers prefer to concentrate on driving and enjoying their cars after reading the magazine, they will understand some things about their cars better," says Hans-Jörg Götzl.
The Motor Klassik special "Schrauber-Tipps Porsche 911" is now available at newsagents or in the Motor Presse store at a price of 10.90 euros.
