The SCR Academy's annual information event will take place for the 25th time in 2024. Since the last information event, various topics have been further developed and new findings and the resulting recommendations can be presented accordingly.
It has been established that SCR Academy core topics, knowledge and documentation relating to historic vehicles, are becoming increasingly important. As is well known, machinations by brand specialists that are negative for the motto "drive and preserve" have also been made public. How can historic vehicles be protected in this context? How should we react to such incidents? These are questions that are becoming increasingly important for driving on public roads with historic vehicles and the preservation of the Code 180 veteran vehicles and are therefore certainly also of interest to you.
The SCR Academy will be held in two parts on February 1, 2024.
From 13:30 the Welcom Desk will be open at the Emil Frey Classics AG Event Center in Safenwil.
From 14:00 to 16:00, a "Review of 25 years of SCR information events" and considerations on "Forgeries, case study, overview of replicas / continuation cars" will be presented in Part 1.
Part 2 from 16:30 to 18:30 will then deal with "Replicas using the example of Pur Sang, vehicle documentation, approval of replicas". The afternoon will be summed up with a panel discussion and concluding remarks, before the traditional "Älplermagronen" will be served from 18:30 onwards, allowing the attendees to chat about petrol.
