The National Quai on Lake Lucerne will be the venue for the revived Concours in Lucerne for the third time. The Concours already attracted beautiful cars and many spectators in 2015 (Prologue) and 2016, and the organizers Bernd Link and Urs P. Ramseier have set their sights even higher for 2017.
Alfa Romeo ...
A separate class as well as a special show will be dedicated to the Alfa Romeo brand.
You can look forward to rare examples of the car company from Milan, including 6C models with special bodies. More is yet to be revealed.
... and the Bern Grand Prix
The Bern Grand Prix is one of the most internationally renowned racing events. Unfortunately, the accident at Le Mans in the 1950s also meant the end of the big road race in the Swiss capital, but in the new century, the great era is commemorated every few years with a revival.
In Lucerne, original cars that took part in the Bern Grand Prix back then are presented in a special show.
Around 40 to 60 cars in the concours
On Saturday, September 16, 2017, vehicles from 1928 to 1975 will once again face the judges of the Concours d'Excellence. And the judges are on the one hand a jury, the visitors and the participants, who can all award prizes.
Admission and division into classes is carried out by the organization. Participation is by invitation. Those who register themselves with a beautiful and interesting vehicle will also be invited and will be included in the selection for presentation at the National Quay.
The registration deadline is August 31, 2017, even if the website where you can register currently still states 31.7.2017.
