From October 17 to 19, 2025, Classic Expo will fill Messezentrum Salzburg with special shows, an auction and a private classic car sale with a parts market. Visitors can expect three trade fair days full of nostalgia.
The biggest Salzburg auction of all time
On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the popular auction of classic vehicles by Humer, Granner & Co will take place in Hall 4 of Messezentrum Salzburg. Interested parties will already have the opportunity to view the vehicles in Halls 3/5 and 4 on October 17 and 18.
More than 170 vehicles will go under the hammer at this year's auction, representing an unprecedented number and variety of classic vehicles. 80% of the lots will be offered without a reserve price. In order to have enough time for each vehicle, the auction will start at 2 pm this time.
Interested bidders who are unable to attend the auction in person have the opportunity to bid live by submitting a written purchase offer, as a telephone bidder or online. Bidders are advised to register on site on Friday or Saturday morning, as there is already a great deal of interest.

Hall 10: 75 years of the VW Bulli
The Volkswagen "Bulli" celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2025 - a history full of versatility, unmistakable design and an incomparable sense of freedom. Since the first T1 in 1950, the Bulli has reinvented itself time and time again and inspired generations of mobility fans. With over 12.5 million vehicles produced, it is the longest-built and most successful commercial vehicle in Europe - and has long been much more than just a means of transportation.
Our exhibition takes you on a journey through this eventful history. Numerous T1 models from the 1950s and 60s - including rare Samba buses, flatbed vehicles, a fire engine and creative special conversions such as the hippie bus or the coffee van - show the diversity of the first generation. The T2 ambulance from 1979 and a T3 Joker impressively continue the development. A special highlight is the original T4 of the gendarmerie from 1995, the only surviving example of its kind in the whole of Austria. The exhibition is rounded off by the latest models such as the ID. Buzz, the ID. Buzz GTX, the Multivan eHybrid 4motion and the e-Caravelle Style, which impressively demonstrate how the Bulli is driving into the future in the age of electromobility.

Hall 2: 50 years of the Jaguar XJS
... presented by Jaguar Daimler Owners Sports & Touring Car Club
The Jaguar XJ-S (from 1991 XJS) was a Gran Turismo from Jaguar and was built around 115,000 times from 1975 to 1996 - the brand's most successful sports model. Further developed in three series (1975-1981, 1981-1991, 1991-1996), it succeeded the E-Type. Instead of a roadster, Jaguar now opted for a comfortable coupé with a V12 engine. Initially controversial, the independent design developed into a trademark and made the XJ-S a long-lasting classic.
Hall 2: 50 years of the RREC German Section
... presented by RREC - Rolls-Royce & Bentley Enthusiasts Club German Section e.V.
In 1975, seven enthusiasts around Friedhelm "Lucky" Luckenburg founded the club - today it has grown into a lively community of Rolls-Royce and Bentley friends. Enthusiasm, tradition and sustainability still characterize our activities today: over 70% of all vehicles ever built by both brands are still on the road. At meetings such as the Chiemsee or the International Rally 2025 in Bensberg, vehicles travel from all over Europe - sometimes over 900 km on their own axles. Thanks to the support of Classic Expo, we can also present vehicles, information and genuine hospitality in Salzburg in our anniversary year.
All information about the Classic Expo can be found on the event website.
