Aston Martin - made truly world-famous exactly 50 years ago by "James Bond - Goldfinger" in 1964, but also winner of the sports car world championship in 1959 and survivor of two bankruptcies. A 100-year history of extreme highs and lows.
The Central Garage in Bad Homburg presents a historical cross-section of the brand with over 20 selected models: from the oldest surviving example from 1921 to the latest model from 2014, including the Aston Martin works car that won its class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1950 and finished 5th overall. A special section of the exhibition is dedicated to Aston Martin's spectacular association with James Bond, with 007 connoisseur Siegfried Tesche displaying part of his unique collection of Bond memorabilia. And what does Aston Martin have to do with tractors? You'll find out in the Central Garage!
The exhibition opening will take place on 25.10. as part ofthe "Kulturnacht Bad Homburg". Opening hours: Wed to Sun, 12:00 to 16:30, also on public holidays.
