The British Car Meeting is one of the biggest classic car events in Switzerland and probably also in Europe, at least as far as the gathering of British cars on one day is concerned. Up to 1500 cars meet at the airport in Mollis each year. This was also the plan for August 30, 2020, but Covid-19 is claiming another victim.
The organization announces: "Since it is definitely not to be expected that the Federal Council will give the green light for events with over 1000 visitors by the end of August 2020, it is with a heavy heart that we have to cancel the 2020 edition of the BCM."
Too bad, the meeting in the canton of Glarus is one of the most colorful classic car events and every year there are countless exotic cars to discover.
On August 29, 2021, however, the BCM will take place again under familiar conditions, provided that no further waves get in the way.
Further information can be found on the BCM website.
