On November 3, 2020, there will be elections in the USA, but before then, Bonhams will be auctioning an entire collection of memorabilia and historical documents from the time of John F. Kennedy and afterwards, including two famous cars in which JFK was driven, in New York on October 14, 2020.
There is the white Lincoln Continental Convertible from 1963, the "Limo One". John F. Kennedy used this four-door convertible on the morning of November 22, 1963 in Fort Worth. It was his last safe ride, as he was assassinated a few hours later in Dallas aboard a black Lincoln.
The car has been partially restored, but the interior is said to be largely original. USD 300,000 to 500,000 is the asking price for this memorabilia (lot 49).
For his personal trips around the White House, Kenedy used a black Lincoln Continental Mark V Executive Limousine from 1960. Bonhams estimates the value of this limousine at USD 200,000 to 300,000.
If you want to buy more memories of John F. Kennedy, you can even bid for the replica of the "Oval Office" or Airforce One (non-functional), as well as over 180 other lots.
More information on the "American Presidential Experience" auction and many pictures can be found on the Bonhams website.
