For the second time, Bonhams will be auctioning a selection of rare classics in Knokke-Le-Zoute in Belgium on October 10, 2014.
One of the highlights will be Nigel Mansell 's Ferrari F40, which he received new from the factory in 1989.
As the last Ferrari type to be built before Enzo Ferrari's death, the F40, which is close to a racing car, is particularly significant. Mansell's example was fitted with a leather interior ex works and is in perfect condition according to Bonhams.
The estimate was set at € 600,000 to 800,000 (CHF 720,000 to 960,000), which corresponds roughly to the last prices for which F40s changed hands at auction.
