While the British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz in July 2021 was dedicated to the film "The Italian Job", next year another film will take center stage: "Grand Prix". This is the legendary 1966 Formula 1 film starring James Garner and Françoise Hardy.
The film is a classic in the automotive film scene for good reason. Hardly ever before have realistic racing scenes been shown in such good quality and you had to be quite a car or racing enthusiast not to be swept away by this masterpiece.
Rally with style
However, the participants in the Saturday rally must of course adhere to the speed limits as usual. However, one or two formula cars will be on display during the weekend as part of the supporting program.
The rally is moving closer to St. Moriz Dorf again on Saturday, July 9, 2022. The arrival is planned in the pedestrian zone - in close proximity to our other partner hotels Badrutt's Palace Hotel, Schweizerhof and Hotel Hauser.
The "Grand Prix Rally" leads from St. Moritz via Scuol and the Reschen Pass into the Vinschgau Valley to Mals (Italy) and over the Ofen Pass back to the Engadine. This means that the route on the program is the one that had already been looked forward to in 2021, but which could not be driven due to the situation around Covid-19.
The Concours d'Elégance, which will take place on Sunday (July 10, 2022), will once again be held on the magnificent lawn of the Suvretta House Hotel, hopefully even in front of an audience.
