The 28th Winter Marathon will take place in Madonna di Campiglio from January 21 - 24, 2016.
The rally starts on February 22 at 2 p.m. in Campiglio and leads from there through snow-covered Italian villages and over 11 winding Dolomite mountain passes. The total distance of around 400 kilometers to be covered in 12 hours is a challenge even for experienced rally drivers.
The break on the Pordoi Pass for dinner in the beautiful little hotel "Lupo Bianco" gives the riders the only opportunity to take a deep breath before the journey continues until the riders finally reach the finish line a few kilometers before Madonna di Campiglio at around 2 o'clock on the morning of 23 January.
The Winter Marathon is an opportunity for the numerous participants to test their concentration and strengths and to compete with others. As every year, Classic Trophies are also held on the frozen lake in Madonna di Campiglio. These begin with the APT Trophy, in which the first 32 registered vehicles are allowed to take part. This will be followed by two more Classic Trophies for pre-war sports cars, before the Winter Marathon comes to an end on January 24 with a joint lunch.
