For the 27th time, the classic car fundraiser in aid of people with disabilities in the district of Giessen is open for business.
This year, in addition to the three very different Mercedes classics, a pre-war highlight and another classic car from a prominent previous owner are waiting for new lucky winners. This time, Günther Jauch parted with his Ford Taunus 17M P3 for a good cause.
The three Mercedes classics are a 190 SL Cabriolet, a 280 SL Roadster R107 and a 190 D Limousine.
Mr. Jauch's "bathtub" is a pretty blue and in fabulously good condition.
And that is by no means all. The youngest vehicle is an Opel Tigra, which at 27 years old is about to be declared a classic car.
The pre-war highlight is a 1938 Ford Eifel Roadster with a charming 1930s design and two-tone paintwork.
Making a big difference with a small contribution
Lebenshilfe Gießen e.V. supports over 2,800 people with disabilities and mental illness in leading a self-determined life. Under the umbrella of our non-profit association are inclusive children's and family centers, youth welfare facilities, schools, workshops, advice centers and homes. The realization of these projects would not have been possible without the donations from the classic car donation campaign.
