The 17th ASC Classic Gala Schwetzingen, which will take place from September 3 to 5, 2021 in the beautiful and spacious palace park, will once again offer visitors attractions that make even long journeys worthwhile.
Classic-Gala Schwetzingen is further expanding its leading position among the traditional concours with the four major themes of Europe-wide attraction:
- 110 years of Chevrolet - milestones of General Motors' leading American brand.
- 100 Years of Maybach Automobiles - spans the arc from the first Maybach W3 to modern times and honors the 175th birthday of company founder Wilhelm Maybach.
- 100 years of Carrozzeria Ghia 100 - a tribute to a great designer who became world-famous with the Karmann Ghia.
- 60 years of the Jaguar E-Type - the epitome of the sports car presented in 1961 enters its "silver age"...
With presentation islands
In the spacious Schwetzingen castle park, the exhibits will be sorted by theme and year of manufacture, and the Mercedes-Benz IG, the Old Ford Friends, the Jaguar Friends, the ASC and other clubs will create their own themed presentation islands. Many participants and visitors will come in period dress, as the vehicle show on the Leitstrahl der Geschichte is embedded in a program of live jazz, fashion, accessories, culinary attractions and market events.
The spacious layout of the largest circular baroque garden in Europe allows it to be held even under pandemic precautionary measures - more than 15,000 visitors attended the ASC Classic Gala Schwetzingen in the coronavirus year 2020 without a single case of infection.
The 17th ASC-Classic-Gala Schwetzingen will take place from Friday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The family-friendly admission price of EUR 7.00 applies to the entire palace park. Participants with appropriately original automobiles are always welcome after registration.
