On Sunday, September 21, 2014, it's that time again. The historic traffic show at Altenrhein Airport will provide mobile experiences at the border triangle under the motto "Wheels that move the world". This may be the last time the event takes place in this form.
Automobiles, motorcycles, tractors and airplanes
Various classic car clubs, several brand clubs and friends of old motorcycles and tractors are expected to attend. The historic traffic show offers an unusually wide variety of colorful vehicles. Free admission for under-17s also includes entry to the Altenrhein Aviation Museum and the flea market, the vintage car market and the spare parts and model market.
Spectacular attractions are offered to the interested public, such as a miniature steam locomotive that regularly takes its passengers around the grounds and guided tours of the Aviation Museum that show what "men in daring flying boxes" used to expect. Some guests even have the opportunity to take to the skies in a helicopter.
Around 700 vehicles and 1000 visitors from Germany and abroad are expected to attend the 2014 Historic Transport Show.
