One month to go and the 13th historic "Tour de Beligique" starts on November 13, 2015 in Mettet, France, and ends two days later on November 15 in Spa. The countdown is on, the final preparations are in full swing and the start lists are slowly but surely filling up.
Many familiar faces
Even though the registration deadline is still open until November 6, over 50 crews have already secured their place on the start list. Of course, there are many familiar faces among the participants again this year.
One of them is Yves Joseph, who, together withJoseph Lambertin his Porsche 911, has already won the Tour de Belique in the last three years. Dominique Holvoet and Björn Vanoverschelde will also be returning to Mette in their Toyota Celica GT. And of course, Eric Piraux and Catherine Monard will also be on board their Renault 5 Alpine.
Even if these three crews are considered favorites, the remaining, already known participants will not make it easy for them. Also taking part are Verhelle Claude & Yves Thirionnet (Ford Escort RS 2000), Daniel Reuter & Christian Bernard (Porsche 914/6), José Lareppe & Filip Deplancke (Opel Kadett), Johnny Delhez & Eddy Gully (Ford Escort RS 2000), Damien Chaballe & Freddy Moors (Volvo Amazon), Bernard Jacquet & Yannick Albert (Toyota Celica GT), Michel Closjans & Renaud Herman (Porsche 356 Pre-A), Michel Decremer & Patrick Lienne (Opel Ascona) and Jean-François Devillers & Eric Chapa (Porsche 911).
In short, the 13th Tour de Belgique promises to be a complete success.
