The Lancia brand is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year. The Lancia Club Suisse (LCS) is taking this anniversary as an opportunity to present the brand's heritage to the general public. With its innovations, the traditional Turin-based brand has significantly shaped and advanced the development of the automobile.
Guests from all over the world will be attending this year's autumn meeting of the Lancia Club Suisse, which will take place from September 9 to 11, 2016. The focus will be on pre-war vehicles, with numerous models of the legendary Lambda expected.
Driving Lancia Museum visits Aarberg and Wangen
On Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Lancisti will make a stop in Aarberg, the medieval town in the Bernese Seeland. Among them are Australians and Americans visiting the Lancia Club Suisse with their Lancia Lambda. In addition to models such as the Lambda, Augusta, Aprilia and Ardea, the magnificent models from the 50s and 60s as well as more recent Lancia models will be on display. Around 40 of the brand's vehicles will be on display in the town square.
From 2 p.m., the motorcade will set off and travel on side roads from Aarberg through the district of Bucheggberg/SO to the next district, the small town of Wangen an der Aare/BE.
Rolf Egli, President of the LCS, says: "We have motivated numerous members to come to Aarberg with models from the decade of the ingenious company founder Vincenzo Lancia." The LCS is looking forward to presenting the brand's heritage to a broad public, Egli continues.
More Lancia drivers welcome
The LCS cordially invites Bescher to drop by in Aarberg on September 10. It is a unique opportunity to get an idea of Lancia's great model history. If you own a Lancia and would like to take part in the whole meeting in the Oberaargau/Solothurn area, please contact the club directly.
