The hotly anticipated Salon Privé 2015 is just around the corner. From September 3-5, the event will celebrate its 10th anniversary at Blenheim Palace, a British World Heritage Site. To mark the occasion, the motor show, which combines the latest supercars with the finest classic cars, will take place from Thursday to Saturday to attract even more buyers, collectors and enthusiasts to the world-famous 18th century palace grounds.
In addition to the many long-standing program items, such as the Concours d'Elégance or the Boodles Ladies Day, there will also be numerous premieres this year. In addition, even more vehicles with spectacular bodywork are expected this year and visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to test their personal dream car at the show.
Concours d'Elégance with a prominent jury
As every year, the main event of the program in 2015 will be the Concours d'Elegance. Vehicles will compete against each other in ten different classes. The vehicles are judged and awarded prizes by a team of experts. This year's team includes FIVA President Patrick Rollet, historian Adolf Orsi and, as a special guest, five-time Le Mans winner Derek Bell.
A lot to see
The Salon Privé is known around the world for its impressive range of classic cars and this year there will once again be a number of highlights to see, one of which is the Ferrari Pininfarina. In addition to the Concours participants, modern vehicles such as the Aston Martin Vulcan, the Ferrari FXX K and the McLaren P1 GTR will also be on display.
Other attractions include the Cisitalia 202 SMM Nuvolari Spyder with an interesting racing history, as well as three freshly restored Ferrari vehicles, including a Ferrari 356 GTC 4 from 1971.
