The Calag classic car meeting took place for the 10th time on June 9, 2024. And it was a complete success despite the modest weather forecast! It stayed dry throughout the entire meeting and many classic car owners made their way to Langenthal with their treasures.
Many beautiful classic cars and lucky weather at the anniversary meeting
Around 630 vehicles of various makes and models were presented on the Calag site and admired by the above-average number of visitors.
In the exhibition in the hall, visitors could also admire cars that Calag, alias Carrosserie Langenthal, built in the 1920s to 1950s and had now invited to the anniversary event.
Measuring coating thickness
André Koch's specialists were also there, using their coating thickness gauge to determine whether and where a vehicle had been repainted and what the coating thickness was. Their barn find, the MG B GT in the hall, also attracted a lot of attention. Also present were the surface professionals from Meguiar's and the liquid specialist Motorex, which has always been a loyal partner for events.
Beer from the duck
Culinary delights from the grill and beer from the Feldschlösschen vintage Citroen 2 CV were served. While we're on the subject, this time there was also beer from the beer hydrant - the once-built Langenthal Chevi fire engine, which is now also on the road with a beer dispenser. Calag donated all the proceeds to the Swiss Car Register.
