C-series Topolino maintained by a professional
€
History:
The Fiat Topolino, of which around 516,646 were built in three series between 1936 and 1955, was a hit throughout Europe. The four-cylinder 569cc engine produced 17 hp, which was enough to transport four people and a little luggage. The great-grandfather of the Goodtimer founder, once a Fiat importer, drove the very first Topolinos over the San Bernardino to Switzerland on his own wheels so that he could sell them on here. This Topolino from the coveted C series is owned by the Goodtimer workshop manager. He kept his Topolino as authentic as possible in professional care without restoring it fresh.
Bodywork and paintwork:
The body is without any rust. The paintwork has its patina and signs of wear here and there, which is why it does not have veteran status.
Interior:
The interior has been partially renewed, the seats have been reupholstered. The instruments have been overhauled and are original, as are the steering wheel and pedals.
Engine and mechanics:
The entire technology works perfectly, a service has been carried out. The cost of a fresh MFK inspection is low. A service booklet documents the work carried out over the past three years.
Chassis:
Chassis, underbody and running gear are in very good and well-maintained condition.
Driving experience:
Deceleration, up the mountain road with momentum, with room for four and a nice smile everywhere - that's the driving experience with the Topolino. With a top speed of almost 100 km/h, it is suitable for the highway, but from Goodtimer's point of view, that is not where a Topolino belongs.
Recommendation:
This is one of the original and authentic examples that has never had to be completely restored, but has always been perfectly maintained for use.
