Description

On behalf of a customer, we are offering a Corvette C1 convertible, built in 1962, in the classic red/black color combination. The vehicle is in excellent condition, both technically and visually. An H-registration and a current TÜV are of course available.

The Corvette was extensively restored around 15 years ago and is in its original delivery condition thanks to its "matching numbers". Since completion of the restoration, the vehicle has only been driven approx. 6,649 miles and has been in the possession of the current owner since 2012, who purchased it from the previous owner in Hamburg. The comprehensive restoration has already been carried out by this previous owner.

As part of the restoration, the engine was completely overhauled and the Corvette is powered by the original 327 cui V8 engine with 4-barrel carburetor and aluminum intake manifold in the most powerful version of the year (340 hp), combined with a precisely shiftable 4-speed manual transmission.
