Two Ford Mustangs have achieved special film honors and become legendary. Eleanor and "Bullitt", the car driven by Frank Bullitt in the movie of the same name. It's no wonder that these cars are reproduced time and again. But the Ford Mustang Fastback with a 6.4-liter engine was a very interesting car even without this legendary status. With the Ford Mustang Mach I from 1969 to 1973, Ford stood up to GM and Chrysler and presented the competition with visually attractive and powerful sports models. It was no bigger than its siblings, the Ford Mustang Grande. But it was more comfortably equipped and remained comparatively rare. For some, it was the best Mustang ever. In 1969 and 1970, a total of around 36,000 Grande models were delivered, some of which received the largest possible engine with a displacement of 5.8 liters and 304 SAE horsepower.
