Between 1975 and 1977, Ferrari produced the 308 GTB, the first and to this day only production road-going Ferrari with a plastic body. Only around 800 units were produced and they are still very popular today. Although Ferrari offered a whole bouquet of colors for the 308 GTB, many buyers chose "rosso corsa". Only eleven coupés are said to have been given the elegant metallic "verde medio" color, a good reason to investigate the life story of one of these rare cars, especially as it is quite "colorful". The Ferrari 308 GTB/GTS was the first Ferrari car that was allowed to call itself a Ferrari even without a 12-cylinder engine. It continued the tradition of the Dino 246 models, offering a two-seater body with a mid-engine.
