Abarth sports cars and touring cars were among the cars to beat in various championships over the years. Based on the Fiat 500, Carlo Abarth produced super-fast racing cars that were to be beaten on the track and that still thrill spectators at historic racing events today. But it all began back in 1949 with the 204A and then the aerodynamic 205A coupé, which serves as the starting point for this article and is presented in detail in the picture.
