In view of constantly rising classic car prices, vintage and classic car auctions are highly regarded and popular events. The classic car specialist Urs Vogel, who is known for his own car center in Wangen a/A, but also for the Italiauto and Bleienbach meetings that he organized and co-initiated, therefore decided without further ado to hold an auction himself. He chose the atmospheric Salzhaus in Wangen an der Aare as the gantry location. Thanks to his extensive network of contacts, he was able to acquire 52 vehicles for the first auction - further auctions are planned at regular intervals. Experienced auctioneer Alois Wyss will be going under the hammer on October 13 and calling out restored classics, restoration objects and exclusive used vehicles with an average price of CHF 33,000 / Euro 27,000. The total value on offer is around CHF 2 million, or 1.65 million euros.
