The "Automobiles Sur les Champs V" auction in the heart of Paris had already caused a stir in the run-up to the event. Four ASAs in one auction - no one had ever managed that before Artcurial. But that's not all, the offer on June 10, 2013 also included four Bugatti, a DB Panhard Le Mans Coupé, a Horch, a number of rare Renault, a Delage and two Delahaye, to name just a few examples. On average, the prices paid exceeded the median estimate by more than 20%, totaling around 8.5 million euros or CHF 1.05 million. 90% of the lots were sold, making it a pleasing event for both seller and auctioneer.
