There were around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of which have disappeared. The Thurner brand can also be counted among them. Its founder, Rudolf Thurner, built a small gullwing coupé based on the NSU 1200 C, which at the time seemed almost futuristic, but was exceptionally successful in terms of style.
