For the 15th time, Bonhams, together with Aston Martin Works, organized a one-make auction at which only Aston Martin and Lagonda vehicles were up for sale. Around 2500 people attended the "Garden Party" in Newport Pagnell and they obviously brought big wallets with them. On average, the lots were sold for 171% of the estimated price (including surcharge/commission). This means that each of the 43 cars sold, regardless of whether it was a restoration project or a Concours vehicle, cost an average of 193,583 pounds, or 237,584 euros, or 290,090 CHF. The total sales volume amounted to 8.2 million pounds, or 10.2 million euros, or 12.5 million Swiss francs and, despite six unsold lots, still clearly exceeded the total estimated prices.
