Summary
RM/Sotheby's organized a very special auction as part of the St. Moritz International Automobile Week. On offer were not only (some of) the super classics you would expect to find in a place like St. Moritz, but also bread-and-butter cars from the 1950s to 1980s from the "Iseli Collection". 96% of the vehicles were sold, not least because of the high "no reserve" percentage of 88%. On average, bidders only had to go up to 2/3 of the estimated value to be able to buy their dream car, and some real bargains were made in St. Moritz. This auction review analyzes the results and shows the cars in pictures.

Preview (beginning of the article)
For the third time, RM/Sotheby's auctioned off 2023 cars in the popular tourist resort as part of the International Automobile Week St. Moritz on September 15. A total of 106 vehicles came under the hammer, including five Lambrettas, four tractors, two Ape and a handful of commercial vehicles. Some things were unusual about this auction, such as the high "No Reserve" share of 88 percent, but also the low average value by RM standards of less than CHF/EUR 100,000. This was due to the fact that, in addition to the expected super classics, a large number of less expensive but no less interesting cars also came under the hammer at the St. Moritz auction.
