For the first time, RM/Sotheby's held an auction at the Petersen Auto Museum in Los Angeles on December 8, 2018. 68 cars and motorcycles were selected, with a total value of almost USD 48 million. In the end, 79% of the vehicles were sold at an average price of USD 727,290. However, the 1956 Ferrari 290 MM, which found a new owner for USD 22 million, played a major role in this.
