On the occasion of the upcoming ModaMiami event, RM Sotheby's organized an auction of 90 vehicles and some memorabilia on 27 February 2026. 89% of the vehicles, including a motorcycle, were sold for almost USD 84 million. The most expensive were three Ferraris, but a Pagani, a Porsche and two Bugatti also made it into the top ten. And there were a few surprises ... The RM-Sotheby's auction at the up-and-coming ModaMiami event on February 27, 2026 lasted over five hours, with 90 vehicles, including a motorcycle, going under the hammer. On average, USD 1.04 million was expected per vehicle moved to the stage, 47% of the lots were announced with no reserve price. In the end, 89% of the vehicles were sold for an average of USD 928,211, ten cars were left standing because there were not enough bids for a knockdown. On average, 89% of the average estimate was bid. Four brands together accounted for more than half of the vehicles. Ferrari was represented by 24 cars, Porsche by eight and Aston Martin by seven. In between were the fire engines from American LaFrance, which practically formed a category in themselves.
