As part of the historic automobile event "London to Brighton Run", RM/Sotheby's auctioned 62 vehicles and a large number of Graham Hill automobiles at Marlborough House in London on November 4, 2023. With an average age of 47 years, the classic cars on offer were comparatively young, with two fifths going under the hammer without a reserve price. With a sales rate of 71% and prices that were in some cases well below expectations, especially for classic cars that were almost as good as new, the auction ended less positively than hoped.
