Summary
32 cars worth USD 76 million were auctioned off at the American F1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas on November 17, 2023. Hamilton's 2013 F1 Mercedes Monoposto alone fetched over USD 18 million. Eleven cars were sold for more than a million, while five cars were left standing despite a high no-limit percentage. The few super classics were not entirely convincing. One bidder paid almost USD 1.4 million for a sweaty T-shirt. This auction review analyzes the results and shows all the vehicles in pictures.

Preview (beginning of the article)
On the occasion of the American F1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas, RM/Sotheby's organized a premium auction on 17 November 2023 with 39 lots, including a Tom Brady T-shirt that ultimately went for USD 1.391 million. However, the main attraction of the auction was of course the 32 cars, which had been estimated in advance at around USD 76 million. On average, almost USD 2.4 million was expected per car. These expectations were not quite fulfilled, but the average selling price per car was still USD 1.95 million. You have to be able to afford that first. Incidentally, USD 102,000 was paid for a Schumacher overall.
