On October 11 and 12, 2018, RM/Sotheby's auctioned a large number of automobiles and 146 automobiles in Hershey. The vehicles were valued at over USD 13 million and two thirds of the cars, most of which were from the USA and over 75 years old on average, were sold without a reserve price. Despite this, the final sales rate was only 89 percent because 16 cars were abandoned. Total vehicle sales amounted to just under USD 11.5 million, which meant USD 82,000 per car.
